B.J. Smith writes fiction, nonfiction, supercomputer user documentation, essays and poetry.
A writer and editor of technical prose for supercomputer users who do atmospheric research, my various other identities include novelist, cyclist, hiker, University of Iowa journalism grad and U.S. Navy veteran. I worked as a reporter for three Iowa daily newspapers, including The Daily Iowan. I was a PR guy for clients in the outdoors industry. Much earlier, I worked at a soda fountain in a drugstore and as a restaurant busboy and dishwasher. That is not a complete list, but some other things I’d rather forget. (Don’t ask.)
Wordpress, Drupal, Google Apps, HTML, Linux, wikis, Windows, MS Word.
