Job Description

Manages, develops and maintains technical documentation for Mortgage
Cadence product lines. Documentation includes but is not limited to
product manuals, release notes and training guides. Delivers training
courses as needed.

This is a leadership role for a person with strong Mortgage Cadence
functionality knowledge, analytical skills, and industry/business
knowledge. The Technical Communications Analyst will work closely with
all areas of the organization, and must manage priorities and
expectations appropriately. This position reports to the Director of
Support Services.

Responsibilities:

· Interpret information from requirements documents and/or
design specifications. Extract relevant information and incorporate as
appropriate into technical documentation.

· Coordinate content across all related documents to maintain
a unified set of documentation consistent with the defined documentation
plan.

· Use the application or system as required to verify
technical accuracy of the associated documents.

· Become informed about and adhere to established
documentation standards, style guides, templates, terminology, and
corporate branding standards. Provide related assistance to others in
the department, as required.

· Participate in and adhere to established editing processes,
and work with other technical writers and instructional designers to
ensure accuracy and consistency of published materials.

· Maintain and protect current documents in the designated
document repository. Ensure that unreleased documents are stored
separate from released/published documents.

· Develop instructional materials, teaching aids, and
devices.

· Deliver training based on instructional materials.

· Ability to manage special projects or responsibilities as
assigned or identified

· Active voice and action in improvements for department and
company

· Acquires technical knowledge and skill as needed

· Instructional Design experience a plus

Requirements or Experience

 4 yr college degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3-5 years of increasing responsibility at a level or above
* Working knowledge of Mortgage Cadence products
* Advanced skills in FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, and Word. Proficiency
using the Microsoft Office suite of applications
* Knowledge of software development and software support processes
* Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
* Knowledge of instructional methods, design, and delivery.
* Effectively and professionally communicate with coworkers,
consultants and customers both verbally and via email
* Ability to deliver presentations, stand-up training, or instruction
to staff, management, or clients is desired.
* Captivate, WebWorks, SQL Server Management Studio
* Knowledge of instructional design theory/concepts
* Autonomous accountability for achieving objectives
* Perform positively under time related customer deadlines
* High energy, personable, a sense of urgency and can-do attitude
* Travel within the United States
