Boulder Writers Alliance News

BWA presented a special Graphics Workshop for Writers on Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Boulder Public Library: Meadows Branch. Established Colorado designers Betty Taylor and Michael Hamers showed how to create and use graphics for online or print publications. Starting with 2013 memberships, BWA members now automatically get a subscription to our public e-mail list, as well as to a private list. The private e-mail list includes job leads and other members-only information.

  • We’ve launched a low-cost membership option for college or high school students, and their teachers. Students get the opportunity to meet and work with publishing professionals, enhancing their career prospects and knowledge.
  • We’re looking for volunteers to help with a variety of fun tasks. Help BWA while also gaining marketable new skills. Current volunteer needs include help with the Website, social media, and other interesting activities. For more information, e-mail volunteers@bwa.org.
