Boulder Writers Alliance News

Our October 28, 2014 educational program was “Mobilizing DITA Content Using Responsive Design.” The program by Harold Henke, senior technical writer at Oracle Corporation, explained what DITA is, how to learn it, and how to repurpose or optimize DITA content to serve mobile users. Visit our Meeting Notes page for a PDF of the presentation.

In addition to presenting great programs, BWA helps expand your professional network. BWA members and friends met on August 26th at the Dairy Center for the Arts. They had a chance to eat, drink, schmooze and connect with a wide variety of professional communicators. Become part of BWA to take advantage of opportunities like this.

On Saturday May 3rd BWA produced an in-depth “Business Bootcamp for Creatives.” Three presenters and a panel of successful small business owners shared their expertise and answered burning questions about Marketing, Finances, and Health Insurance. Our 2014 events started with the February 25th happy hour and program: “Blogging, It’s Not All About You Anymore!”
