Boulder Writers Alliance News

On Saturday May 3rd BWA is holding a special “Business Bootcamp for Creatives.” If the essential details of starting and running a creative business are a recurring off-ramp on your yellow brick road to success, this workshop is for you. Come spend an afternoon and learn must-have business knowledge all writers and other creative professionals and independent contractors should know.

Three Colorado business specialists and a panel of successful small business owners will share their expertise and answer your burning questions. There are three Bootcamp sessions (Marketing, Finances, and Health Insurance), followed by the panel discussion. Get complete Bootcamp details or register at: http://bwamay2014.eventbrite.com

BWA’s 2014 events started with our February 25th happy hour and program: “Blogging, It’s Not All About You Anymore!” Visit our Meeting Notes page for the presentation PDFs from last fall’s educational program, “Writing for e-Learning.” The program was a joint production by BWA and the Denver Metro E-Learning Developers (DMELD).
