Boulder Writers Alliance News
BWA’s 2014 events started with our February 25th happy hour and program: “Blogging, It’s Not All About You Anymore!” Blogs were once synonymous with navel-gazing musings from people with too much time on their hands. Today, blogs are an indispensable tool for businesses large and small. Presenter Scott Yates shared his perspective on blogging and talked about the changing nature of blogs and the increasing value of writing in today’s world.
On May 3rd BWA is holding a special “Business Bootcamp for Creatives.” This Saturday afternoon workshop will include presentations and a panel discussion focused on essential business knowledge for writers and other creative professionals. BWA members will have the first opportunity to register.
Visit our Meeting Notes page for the presentation PDFs from last fall’s educational program, “Writing for e-Learning.” The program was a joint production by BWA and the Denver Metro E-Learning Developers (DMELD).
