Boulder Writers Alliance News
Thanks to everyone who came out on February 24, 2015 for “From Contracts to Copyrights – A Legal Brief for Writers” by attorneys Lee H. Freedman and Neil Salyards from Feldmann Nagel, LLC. This educational program was at the Boulder Public Library: George Reynolds Branch, 3595 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO 80305. Attendees had a chance to get their legal questions answered by our two great presenters.
Our October educational program was “Mobilizing DITA Content Using Responsive Design.” The program by Harold Henke, senior technical writer at Oracle Corporation, explained what DITA is, how to learn it, and how to repurpose or optimize DITA content to serve mobile users. Visit our Meeting Notes page for a PDF of the presentation.
In addition to presenting great programs, BWA helps expand your professional network. BWA members and friends met in late August at the Dairy Center for the Arts. They had a chance to eat, drink, schmooze and connect with a wide variety of professional communicators. Become part of BWA to take advantage of opportunities like this.
