Boulder Writers Alliance (BWA) is a nonprofit organization of communications professionals in Boulder and throughout Colorado. Members specialize in all facets of writing and communications, including technical and marketing writing, fiction and journalism, editing, graphic arts, multimedia, and Web sites. Announcements

• The speaker at the next BWA meeting, on Jan. 26, will be Steve Babcock from Crispin, Porter +Bogusky. He will speak on Copywriting.
• At the November meeting, Deb Kolaras was elected President; Angela Oppenheim, Vice President; and Anita Rae, Treasurer. Congratulations to the new officers!
• Please renew your membership by January 31 to be in next year's PDF directory.
• We have openings on the Steering Committee to help manage BWA this year, including Programs chair and Volunteer chair. We also need a volunteer to continue organizing our monthly "schmoozes," networking opportunities for BWA members and friends to meet at a local restaurant over lunch or happy hour. If you are interested, please contact membership @ bwa.org.
